Useless on highlighted glossy print

I purchased this app specifically to grab citations from textbooks. It works ok if the text is not highlighted (but of course everything I want to OCR is highlighted). Once highlighted this app is incapable of performing OCR. Im not going to scan before highlighting as it would disrupt my reading flow (I scan when done reading). This was a waste of money. Now I have to purchase another app.
